Driver CPC Requirements - Periodic & Initial CPC
If you hold either an LGV or PCV licence and wish to use your licence for commercial purposes you will be required to hold the Driver CPC qualification card in most instances. There are very few exemptions to the requirement and if you have not driven a commercial vehicle since before September 2009 you may not be aware of the changes.
New pass LGV & PCV drivers who did not hold a C1 entitlement on their licence (pre 1997 car test) will need to complete the initial CPC modules - (speak to your training school about these) before you can use your licence commercially.
